Date: 2017-05-02

On April 21, 2017, our International Programs teachers and students celebrated the International Day in the atrium of the international building. On this day, Meishi International school opened its doors to welcome all cultures to celebrate our diversity as an international school community. It was a great day experiencing different cultures, food, art, and crafts. This year's Renaissance-themed International Day started off with a Hawaii hula dance. Then a time-travel drama “Xi Li Xi Wai” and a Chinese classic love story “Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai” were presented by our teachers and students. Three teachers sang the iconic song Heroes' Song of the TV series “The Water Margin”.In the end, middle school students displayed the famous painting “Last Supper” .The performance received big applause among the audience. To share diverse cultures and heritages is what we strive for when developing global citizens, which makes International Day one of the most important days in our school calendar.
