The CMIS International Programs celebrated Thanksgivng at the International Programs building on Thursday, November 24, 2011. Each staff and parent brought one dish of food to our school to share with others at that time. Elementary and middle school students sang songs for celebrating Thanksgiving.
It was a good time for students, parents, and teachers to socialize with each other and our students learnt that they need to “share” their happiness with others.

P.S. Thanksgiving Day is a holiday set aside each year for giving thanks to God for blessings received during the year. It is celebrated through feasting and prayer primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States.
